Additional details



 The Watch station:  Most of the facilities have been organised in the vicinity. Its a comfortable place, well protected from wheather behind the PVC wind screen, The most used instruments are handy right there:
The magnetic compas on starbord, the GPS display, the wind system, the loch and sounder  on port. The radar display is conveniently fastened behind the wind screen.  This location in order to ease the single handed navigation. On port side, recessed in the stair way  a VHF can be use from outside as well as from inside.
The more used sheets are actuated by  winches and on clamps on both sides of the descent . The main sheet is on a Bararossa rail.





The abaft cabins. One on each side. The picture shows the entrance of the port side cabin  The berth is a 130 (1.3m width) at the shoulders and 90 on feet level.  . Each cabin has a vestibule where the full headroom allows standing position while clothing with the privacy given by the curtain.
The starbord cabin is similar. Some electrical swiches and the batteries charger are installed there
On this picture, the VHF can be seen on port side of the descent.
 


The descent provides 4 steps. The higher step has the opening to access to the rear side of the engine dashboard and receive the hourmeter.  
The panel supporting the 2 next steps can be removed to provide access to the power plant.  Even an XL sized man can enter this plant and crawl his way up to the shaft gland without any difficulty.
The lower step is removable as well to free the 2 batteries for maintenance. 2 batteries 125 AH (new en 10/2008).

The  Galley:   One stainless steel bowl sink with 1 cock actuated bien a foot pump as well as a cock governed by the elecric pump (cold water only). 

Under the sink table, a spare mushroom head with valve is ready to connect a sea water inlet.  Allowing, if necessary to feed the foot pump. 
A 2 burners ENO marine gas range is fitted on port side with a 6 Kg gas tank.
The 12 V fridge, (not on the picture) is located under the sink, it's door opening towards the axis of the vestibule.







The  Charts table openable in two parts is huge and can accept most of the charts size. Its seat opens to a vast trunk.
This is the most important place in the yacht.
One can find there all the instruments needed for the navigation: the GPS MLR on a braket, Sounder additionnal to the cockpît's one, additionnal display for the wind system,   Navtex 40 lines (international and local),   Electronic barometer  VION,  Clock and chart lamp
A car radio set with 2 loud speakers in the saloon





The main cabin (saloon) can house 6 persons seating, while for a meal, the size of the table is comfortable for merely 4 persons.  Buit in solid oak, this table can be half-folded to give way to the aft part of the yacht. 
The day lighting is provided by 6 portlights, one being openable, and the deck hatch wich allows a good ventilation of the space.  On both sides, convenient boxes and lockers are provided.
Under each seat a 180 liters water tank allows a raisonable autonomy. 
Big bulks lockers  spaces can be used after  raising the floor panels.






The Toilet  is organised aft of the main cabin, in the vestibule to  the bow cabin. One wash basin is on a sliding rack. Cold water is provided by the electric pump.  On the same rack, a shower hose  is available. The drain water is leaded to a dedicated bilge pump located underneth the main cabin floor. Sliding away the wash basin give clearance to the JABSCO manual head, and the 2 ball valves.  The discharge is direct to the sea. A wide toilet cabinet is above the wash basin an a "wet" locker is available on the starboard side as well as convenient shelves, protected by a shower curtain.



 




The Forecastle has not been organised yet, but it could be used for single or double berth accomodation.
Presently it is used as sails storage.
At the bow tip, a chain well absorbs the chainline from the windlass. The waters are leaded to the shower sump pump.The windlass motor and relay are inside, protected from the weather and are still handy for maintenance, if any
